A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than ten months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation or an entrusted business entity, shall issue sports betting tickets or similar things (including the issuance thereof by means of information and communications networks) and provide property or financial benefits to persons who win at the betting.

Nevertheless, a name-free person is responsible for the overall operation of "D", which is an illegal sports gambling site, at the Vietnam Minh, and E is responsible for filling the amount deposited in the charging account with the game money or exchanging dividends paid to members in cash so that he/she can be used at the above illegal sports gambling site, and F is responsible for adjusting the dividend rate of the above illegal sports gambling site depending on the failure of the sports competition, and the defendant is willing to take charge of managing the above illegal sports gambling site under the direction of the above person without the name of the winner.

According to the above public offering, the Defendant: (a) around February 18, 2016, from around July 12, 2016 to around July 12, 2016, comprehensively operates the above “D” site in Vietnam; and (b) during the above period, E, from the members of the above site in Vietnam, transferred the amount equivalent to KRW 97,864,569,843 in total to 24 accounts, such as the Korean bank account in the name of the company and the post office account in the name of the limited liability company, from the members of the above site; and (c) exchange the money to the members and make them deposit the money to the members; and (d) deposit the money according to the dividend rate in accordance with the actual game result from the member’s online bulletin board during the above period in Vietnam; and (e) the Defendant adjusted the dividend rate in accordance with the above sports’s online bulletin board during the above period in Vietnam.
