Reasons
Punishment of the crime
Defendant D, “2014 High 2118 (Defendant D)”, is operating a seller of edible eggs in the trade name of “P” in Gwangju Northern-gu O.
In order to process, pack, store, and transport livestock products for sale, any person shall place marks meeting the standards for labeling on livestock products.
Nevertheless, around September 23, 2014, the Defendant kept 30 food eggs purchased from food eggs production farms at the above place (90 boxes) for the purpose of sale without any marking that meets the standards for livestock products, such as the date of production and the due date of distribution.
Defendant G, “2014 High 2130 (Defendant G)”, is operating a food eggs collection and sale company under the trade name of “R” in Nam-gu Seoul Metropolitan City Q.
In order to sell livestock products, any person shall determine standards for labeling and affix marks meeting the standards for the livestock products.
Nevertheless, around September 22, 2014, the Defendant sold approximately 60 plates of edible eggs to S without any marking that meets the criteria at the above place.
