Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 500,000 ($100,000), and if the fine is not paid, KRW 100,000 ($10,000) shall be one day.

Punishment of the crime

No person shall cover a motor vehicle registration number plate nor make it illegible, and such motor vehicle shall not be operated.

Nevertheless, around 10:00 on July 28, 2016, the Defendant intentionally attached C’D’ in the number C of the next registration number plate number C, which was behind the passenger car of the Grand City, to a paper tape, making it difficult for the Defendant to recognize the number plate by leaving it stopped on the road.
