Punishment of the crime

On November 28, 2018, the Defendant was sentenced to six months of imprisonment for fraud in the Western Branch of the Daegu District Court on November 28, 2018, and completed the execution of the sentence on March 15, 2019.

【Criminal Facts】

1. Fraud;

A. On May 2, 2019, the Defendant: (a) around 01:20 on May 2, 2019, the Defendant, against the victim B, was boarding a C-cab driven by the victim B in front of the alleylleylley located in Daegu-gu; and (b) was committed as if the victim were to pay the taxi fee if he had to the Defendant’s destination, in the manner referred to as “A change to the Dongdaedae-gu District”.

However, the defendant did not have the money to pay the taxi fee at the time, and even if the victim takes the defendant to the destination, he did not have the intention or ability to pay the taxi fee.

Nevertheless, the Defendant deceiving the victim as above, and even though the victim was waiting for bringing the Defendant to the destination by driving the taxi, the Defendant did not pay KRW 8,000 to the Defendant.

Accordingly, the defendant acquired financial benefits by deceiving the victim.

B. On May 2, 2019, the Defendant: (a) around 04:20 on May 2, 2019, the Defendant: (b) was boarding a F taxi driven by the victim D on the front side of the Y apartment in Daegu-gu E apartment; and (c) was committed as if the victim were to pay the taxi fee to the Defendant to the destination in the manner referred to as “A change to the Dong Dong-gu Gung-gu.”

However, the defendant did not have the money to pay the taxi fee at the time, and even if the victim takes the defendant to the destination, he did not have the intention or ability to pay the taxi fee.

Nevertheless, the Defendant: (a) deceiving the victim as above; (b) did not pay KRW 10,000 to the victim while the victim was waiting for the Defendant to move to the destination by driving the taxi.

Accordingly, the defendant deceivings the victim.
