Defendant

A and B shall be punished by imprisonment with prison labor for one year, and by imprisonment for eight months, respectively.

However, the defendant C is subject to objection.

Punishment of the crime

1. No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation or an entrusted business entity, may issue sports betting tickets or similar things (including the issuance thereof by means of information and communications networks) and provide property or financial benefits to persons who win at the betting.

With G, at the Philippines where it is difficult to track the Internet server, G opened a sports Saturday site ("H", "I", and "J") via the Internet, let many and unspecified persons visit the said site and transfer money to the designated account, thereby charging the amount to the said site, using the charged amount, and let them buy the money in the sports event such as progs, etc., and then, in accordance with the contents of the betting, he/she managed the said illegal sports Saturday site by means similar to the issuance of the sports betting ticket by means of money exchange and withdrawal of the dividend, etc., and the Defendants conspired to withdraw the money from cash and deposit the money to the intermediary or to the accounts managed by G by the intermediary.

In collusion with G, from March 25, 2013 to May 30, 2014, the Defendants: (a) operated the said illegal sports entertainment site from G managing the said illegal sports entertainment site in Seoul, Busan, and Jinju, etc.; (b) received the inner passbook, its cash card, etc. from a person with no knowledge of his/her name; and (c) sent the said illegal sports entertainment site with G by way of sending cash from the account to another account by a person with no knowledge of his/her name; and (d) sending cash from the account to an intermediary sender with whom G could not know of his/her name by withdrawing cash from the account and depositing it into the account with G.
