1. Basic facts

A. From September 2006, the Plaintiff is currently serving as a foreign professor in international relations with B University from around September 2006, and the Defendant is a juristic person established around June 2009 with the aim of supporting academic and research and development activities in accordance with the Korean Research Foundation Act.

KCI, operated by the Defendant, is a system for analyzing the quoted relations between theses by compiling domestic academic paper information, thesis information, reference documents, etc. The Defendant provided the original text, author information, quoted information, statistical information, academic paper information, academic journal information, etc. through the Defendant’s Internet website.

B. Each thesis listed in the separate sheet Nos. 1, 2, and 4 is prepared by the defendant and prepared by the plaintiff. Each thesis listed in the separate sheet Nos. 3 and 12 (hereinafter "the First thesis of this case") is published by the Political Association of the 21st century, and each thesis listed in the separate sheet No. 5, 6, and 8 (hereinafter "the Second thesis of this case") is published by the Social Research Institute of the Gyeongsung University, and by the Social Research Institute of the same Table No. 15, 16, and 18 (hereinafter "the Second thesis of this case"), together with the first and second thesis of this case.

C. The Defendant: (a) at ordinary universities’ social science research institute; (b) at the 21st century political academic society; and (c) at the Defendant’s Internet site, made public the original text of each thesis of this case through public transmission with the consent of the general public and researchers so that they can use it free of charge. (d) The Defendant made public the original text information of each thesis of this case by proxy.

1. The right of the plaintiff and the thesis published shall be the academic council, and it shall not be approved by the academic council.
