Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 2,700,000.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, the amount of KRW 100,000 shall be paid.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant is the representative of C Co., Ltd. established for the purpose of the wholesale business, etc. of wood in Thai-gun, Chungcheongnam-do.

A person who has filed an import declaration shall import timber with permission, approval, recommendation, certification, or other conditions necessary for import pursuant to Acts and subordinate statutes, and where a person who has imported timber intends to clear the fact, he/she shall undergo an inspection of standards and quality by the competent authority in advance pursuant to Acts and subordinate statutes on the sustainable use

Nevertheless, around December 30, 2014, the Defendant imported from the Busan Customs office located in 20, as of Busan Jung-gu, Busan, an import declaration number of 129,576KG (the value of goods is equivalent to KRW 49,429,049, the market price of KRW 73,445,838) from the Busan Customs office to D, and imported wood without undergoing the standard and quality inspection as above, and then imported it from around 18 times in total from around 2015 to June 10, 2015 without undergoing the standard and quality inspection as shown in the separate crime list as shown in the attached Form 18,261,285, and 132KG (the value of goods is equivalent to KRW 1,067,253,024).
