Defendants shall be punished by each fine of KRW 1,000,000.

The Defendants did not pay the above fines.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendants are members of the Korean Democratic Labor Union Federation (hereinafter referred to as the “Korean Democratic Labor Union”) Korea Metal Trade Union (hereinafter referred to as the “MMM”) Samsung Electronic Service Branch (hereinafter referred to as the “TM”)

1. Relevant situation Samsung Electronic Services Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “T&T”) is a subsidiary responsible for the maintenance and repair of products produced by Samsung Electronic Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “T&T”) and entrusts part of the installation and repair of electronic equipment to 108 companies nationwide (hereinafter “Co-contractor”). On July 2013, some of the workers belonging to each partner company (which belongs to 41 partner companies among 108 partner companies) established a labor union for Samsung Electronic Services under the Democratic labor union.

Samsung Electronic Services Trade Union claimed a “direct employment” against Samsung Electronic Services after its establishment, and on the other hand, demanded a collaborative company to provide a “monthly pay system, five-day work system, labor union office, etc.” but the labor union and the labor union did not reach an agreement.

Accordingly, from January 13, 2014 to September 13, 2014, labor union began to engage in a regional strike. From February 5, 2014, labor union started to engage in a regional strike.
