Defendant shall be punished by a fine of one million won.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, KRW 100,000.

Punishment of the crime

An international marriage broker shall obtain personal information on marriage experience, health status, occupation, and criminal experience from a user who has entered into an international marriage brokerage contract and from the other party and obtain authentication from a notary public of each relevant country of the relevant country: Provided, That where the user or the other party has obtained authentication from a notary public in a foreign country, he/she shall obtain confirmation from a consular official in accordance with Article 30 (1) of the Act on Notarial Acts of Foreign Diplomatic Missions or obtain confirmation in accordance with the Convention Abolishing the Requirement for

Nevertheless, on January 24, 2015, the Defendant, in collusion with C and D, an international marriage broker, did not provide E with personal information on marriage, health, criminal experience, etc. certified by a notary public of the pertinent country, and did not provide E in advance, in advance, the personal information certified by a notary public of the pertinent country, as described in the separate crime list, from around April 10, 2016 to around September 10, 2016.
