Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 100,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

From September 1, 2010 to August 21, 2012, the Defendant “other wastewater discharge facilities” which discharge wastewater containing specific substances harmful to water quality and heavy metals in Busanjin-gu, including Busan, shall obtain permission from the head of the competent Gu, if the maximum amount of wastewater per hour is at least 0.1 cubic meters, but it shall be installed outside of 0.23 cubic meters of wastewater per hour, and other wastewater discharge facilities (cleaning facilities): biochemical oxygen demand [standard: 402.7mg/liter exceeding 120m/liter] 402.3 times of standard value; 1.6m of chemical oxygen demand [1.6mliter/liter : 130g/liter 4.6m of wastewater; 1.6m of standard quantity of 4m or more; 1.6m of chemical oxygen demand : 6m or more of standard value [standard 5m or 5m mliter]; 1.4m or 6m of standard quantity of wastewater /4m or 4m of m.

In view of the fact that the pollution level of wastewater discharged on the grounds of sentencing under Article 334(1) of the Criminal Procedure Act is reasonable, and that the period of discharging wastewater is not shorter than the period, the quantity of discharged wastewater is not much, and that it seems to cause serious environmental harm by itself, the crime is not somewhat weak, and thus, the defendant should be punished strictly.
