A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than eight months.

Punishment of the crime

The defendants shall not desert from military service as public duty personnel for at least eight days in total without justifiable grounds.

Nevertheless, while serving as public interest service personnel in Jinju-si C, the Defendant left service for eight days in total, including November 21, 2012, when serving as public interest service personnel on May 14, 2012 (five days) and May 21, 2012 (one day) and November 23, 2012 (one day).
