A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than eight months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

On August 25, 2016, the Defendant made a false report on the following facts: (a) around 05:41, at the Defendant’s residence of Changwon-si, Masan-si, 509; (b) at the Defendant’s cell phone, the Defendant made a false report to the effect that “I am out of liquidation at home”; and (c) 4 police officers and fire-fighting officers, including slope E belonging to the D Zone Unit of the Msan-dong Police Station, Msan-si, and fire-fighting bridge G, etc. belonging to the F Safety Center.”

As above, the Defendant interfered with the legitimate execution of duties concerning crime prevention and lifesaving of the police officers and firemen by deceptive means.
