A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than ten months.

The defendant shall order the completion of child abuse treatment programs for 80 hours.

Punishment of the crime

On May 3, 2018, the Defendant is the mother of an anonymous child (0 presumption) discovered as a result of death in the building C of the Gu-U.S. Si building B around May 3, 2018.

No person shall abandon a child under his/her protection and supervision, or neglect the basic protection, rearing, medical treatment and education, including food, clothing and shelter.

Nevertheless, on July 30, 2017, the Defendant did not report the birth of the victimized child on the ground that the Defendant could not move to the hospital because the Defendant’s resident registration was cancelled despite having given birth to the victimized child, and the Defendant did not entirely implement preventive vaccination for the victimized child.

As a result, the Defendant neglected the basic protection, rearing, and medical treatment for victimized children under his/her protection and supervision.

The reason for sentencing under Article 8(1) of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment, etc. of Child Abuse Crimes Committed by the Defendant, as her mother, abandons the victim by preventing the victim from receiving most social benefits, such as preventive vaccination that requires resident registration numbers, etc. on the grounds that the Defendant, as her mother, did not report the birth of the victimized child. The Defendant left the victimized child to the remaining living together in April 2018, and did not protect and nurture the victimized child, and the victimized child was found to have died together with his/her remaining living together, and the Defendant 2014.
