Punishment of the crime

On August 22, 2014, the Defendant was sentenced to imprisonment with prison labor for fraud, etc. at the Daegu District Court on November 21, 2014, and the judgment became final and conclusive on November 21, 2014.

Around September 10, 2012, the Defendant used computers, etc.: (a) connected the Plaintiff’s children C (the age 11) who was connected to the same game with the Plaintiff’s online game by using the Mesenger’s function; (b) identified the victim’s resident registration number and mobile phone number; and (c) paid a sum of KRW 600,000,000, by linking the victim’s personal information to the net games, which are Internet game sites, by October 26 of the same year, using the victim’s personal information.

Accordingly, the defendant deceivings a minor child of the victim as above and acquired 600,000 won.

2. Violation of the Resident Registration Act.

A. The Defendant used B’s resident registration number to unlawfully use another person’s resident registration number by accessing the Internet game sitenet block at the time, time, and place indicated in the preceding paragraph, and by using B’s resident registration number recognized as above.

B. On August 28, 2012, the Defendant used another person’s resident registration number to unlawfully use another person by accessing the Internet game site No. D’s home registration number that he/she came to know by an influence method at the places indicated in the preceding paragraph.
