Defendant shall be punished by imprisonment without prison labor for six months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date of the final judgment.

Punishment of the crime

피고인은 B 버큠로리 화물차의 운전업무에 종사하는 사람인바, 2014. 5. 13. 17:00경 위 화물차를 운전하여 전남 담양군 수북면 추성로에 있는 풍수사거리 교차로를 수북사거리 방면에서 주평사거리 방면으로 편도 3차로 중 3차로를 따라 시속 약 80킬로미터로 진행함에 있어 신호를 위반하여 위 교차로에 진입한 업무상 과실로 때마침 피고인의 진행방향 우측에서 수북사거리 방면으로 신호에 따라 좌회전 하던 피해자 C(66세) 운전의 D 액센트 승용차의 좌측 앞 범퍼부분을 위 화물차의 앞 범퍼부분으로 들이받아 그 충격으로 피해자 C로 하여금 약 3주간의 치료를 요하는 제4늑골 갈비뼈의 골절상 등을, 위 승용차의 조수석에 동승하고 있던 피해자 E(여, 59세)으로 하여금 약 10주간의 치료를 요하는 제2경추의 골절상 등을 각 입게 하였다.
