Defendant

A shall be punished by imprisonment for 10 months and fines for 5,00,000 won, and imprisonment for 8 months and fines for 5,00,000 won, respectively.

Punishment of the crime

1. Defendant A is a person who operates a sexual traffic business with the trade name “E” on the Gangnam-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government D3rd floor.

On May 11, 2015, the Defendant: (a) received KRW 45,00 from F, which reported and contacted an advertisement on the Internet amusement information site at the said place of business, and (b) assisted G (hereinafter “H”) employed by the Defendant to compare F with a similar nature to F; and (c) engaged in the act, such as arranging sexual traffic, from April 20, 2015 to May 11, 2015.

2. Defendant B

A. From May 10, 2015 to May 11, 2015, the Defendant aided and abetted the above A’s act, such as arranging sexual traffic, by providing information on male customers who had found the above business place while working as an employee in the above business place, and by facilitating the crime, such as guiding male customers who had found the above business place, and taking charge of cleaning and arranging the smuggling.

B. Violation of the Act on the Punishment of Acts, such as Arrangement of Commercial Sex Acts (mediation of commercial sex acts, etc.) is a person who operates a commercial sex trafficking business establishment, "E (any other business establishment similar to the business establishment in paragraph (1))" on the first underground of Gangnam-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government I.

On October 7, 2015, the Defendant: (a) around October 7, 2015, at an online entertainment business establishment, received 35,000 won from many unspecified male customers who reported and contacted advertisements offered on the Internet entertainment information website; and (b) assisted the Defendant’s sexual traffic women, who were employed by the Defendant, to have a similar nature; and (c) engaged in the act of arranging sexual traffic, etc. as above, from October 5, 2015 to October 7, 2015.
