A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than eight months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for a period of two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

A person, other than an entrusted business entity, who is a national sports promotion corporation or a person who is not an entrusted business entity, shall not provide property or property benefits to persons who win at the results of sports promotion by issuing voting rights or things similar thereto, and shall not establish a space for gambling for profit.

The Defendant openly recruited to operate an Internet gambling site similar to the “sports soil” where voting rights under the Sports Promotion Act are sold to C, D, E, F, G, H, I, K, L, M and national sports. In Korea, the Defendant: (a) had an office for attracting members, such as broadcasting promotion in the Silsung N, A, 2303 and the same address; (b) had an office for attracting members in the Silsung-si Office; (c) had contact P in Thai-si, Thai-si, Thai-si, B, with an office for managing and remitting members, and opened an Internet gambling site, such as QR, at the 17th floor; (d) had a general supervision over crimes after opening a domestic office; (e) D, and E, China; (e) have established and managed the Internet gambling site; and (e) has managed the Internet gambling site and its results; and (e) has managed the Internet gambling site in the Republic of Korea; and (e) has performed its duties in the Republic of Korea.

In collusion with C, D, E, F, G, H, I, K, K, L, and M, the Defendant used the Internet broadcast “Africa TV” from October 1, 2013 to January 6, 2014 to publicize the domain name address, recommended ID and code numbers necessary for the entry into the website in real time by using the Internet broadcast “Africa TV” for the recruitment of the members of the said gambling site at Suwon-si from around October 1, 2013 to around January 6, 2014.
