Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 700,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant registered the 21st National Assembly member election held on April 15, 2020 as a preliminary candidate in the B constituency under its jurisdiction on March 18, 2020, and registered as a candidate in the B constituency from March 26 to February 27, 2020.

A preliminary candidate may conduct an election campaign by wearing shoulder belts or marks indicating a preliminary candidate for the election campaign even before the election campaign period, but shall not conduct an election campaign by any means other than those provided for in the Public Official Election Act, and an election campaign by the day immediately preceding the date on which a preliminary candidate commences shall be conducted in the same manner as a preliminary candidate.

Nevertheless, on March 25, 2020, the Defendant carried out an election campaign without wearing marks at least five times in total as shown in the list of crimes from around the following day to around the 31st day of the same month, for the purpose of allowing the electors to well look at the roads front of the CAdministrative Welfare Center and D, without wearing the above marks marked on the front side of the sign (100 cm in length, 80 cm in width) indicating a preliminary candidate, and without wearing the above marks marked on the front side of the sign (80 cm in width, 10 cm in width, 80 cm in width).

Accordingly, the defendant carried out an election campaign in a way other than that prescribed in the Public Official Election Act before the election campaign period.
