A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

Punishment of the crime

No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation or an entrusted business entity, shall provide information related to sports games, or mediate or arrange the purchase of sports betting tickets or similar things for the purpose of providing property or property benefits (hereinafter referred to as "similar acts") to persons who win at the betting results by issuing sports betting tickets or similar things.

From August 2018 to June 25, 2019, the Defendant: (a) installed eight gambling site operators listed in the attached list of crimes, such as gambling sites, E, and other similar activities, and if a person who connects to the gambling site through the relevant box loses money by gambling, he/she shall be paid from 25% to 30% of the relevant amount; and (b) posted an advertisement of “D” in F, G, etc., to recruit its members, provide its members with various information related to sports games, such as stables, deafs, and campings; and (c) connected the gambling site installed with the aforementioned “D” website by accessing the gambling site.

Accordingly, the Defendant provided information on sports games for similar acts, and provided public relations activities, arranged or arranged the purchase of sports betting tickets or similar things, thereby acquiring profits equivalent to KRW 92,064,865 in return for such act.
