Punishment of the crime

[2012 Highest 563] On May 2012, the Defendants conspired to forge the check through the Internet and copy the cashier’s checks issued in order to use them to obtain money.

1. From May 22, 2012 to May 25, 2012, Defendants violated the Illegal Check Control Act: (a) from around 10,000 won to around 20,00 won, Defendant A’s house located in Bupyeong-gu Incheon Metropolitan City and Defendant B’s house located in Bupyeong-gu Incheon Metropolitan City, 100,000 won of the total amount of 10,000 won of the checks issued by the National Bank; (b) from around 10,000 won of the checks issued by the National Bank; (c) from around 20,000 won of the checks issued by the National Bank; (d) from around 10,000 won of the checks issued by the National Bank; (e) from around 20,000 won of the checks issued by the National Bank; and (e) from around 1,200,000 won of the checks issued by the National Bank of Korea; (e) from around 1,120,000 won of the checks issued by forgery.
