Defendant

A shall be punished by imprisonment with prison labor for six months and by imprisonment for eight months.

However, for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

A. The Defendant is a business director of H Co., Ltd. I (hereinafter “I”) who supplies pipes to H Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “H”).

On August 13, 2008, the Korea Egypt Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Korea Atomic Energy Headquarters”) concluded a purchase contract of KRW 2,462,815,960 (the contract price was changed to KRW 2,462,815,960) with respect to the purchase of goods (the contract number: T07N22300, the contract price: KRW 2,559,615,000) with the Hag Nuclear Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Korea Atomic Energy Headquarters”) as well as the 34 kinds, other than the Hag Nuclear Energy Co., Ltd.

According to the public notice of the bidding of Korea-U.S. purchase contract, equipment or goods supplied to Korea-U.S. source whose quality grade is likely to directly or indirectly cause radiation hazards to the general public in the event of a malfunction or defect, are divided into safety grade-related structures, systems and equipment not falling under the safety grade-related structures, systems and equipment, which are likely to cause the suspension of power generation, and general industrial grade not classified into Category A (A) (Rules on the Safety Grade and Standards of Reactor Facilities (Enforcement of April 18, 2008, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Notice No. 2008-13, 2008). For each item designated as the public notice of the bidding of Korea-U.S. purchase contract, the quality assurance documents and quality assurance documents of the supplier: QVD: QVD's supplier's company's construction or manufacturer's construction report on the purchase of the materials, and the results of the test report are submitted, for example, the inspection report and specifications, and other test report: MU.T.M.
