Punishment of the crime

Defendants are in a partnership relationship with the company that works in the Bank of Korea D.

The Defendants lent rental car, shared the role of the perpetrator and the victim, caused the intentional accident, and conspired to receive insurance money from the insurance company for the purpose of receiving the accident, such as vehicle repair expenses, medical expenses, and agreed money.

Therefore, at around 08:50 on May 20, 2019, the Defendants: (a) driven by Defendant B with the front part of HK5 vehicle leased and operated by Defendant A in the “F” in the “A”-gu, Cheongju-si, Cheongju-si; (b) intentionally shocked the front part of the HK5 vehicle that Defendant C joined; and (c) received an accident from the Victim JJ Mutual Aid Association, the insurance company of the said siren vehicle, around May 20, 2019.

As such, the Defendants conspired to induce employees in charge of the victimized company to pay the vehicle repair cost, B, and C medical expenses from May 27, 2019 to June 27, 2019, and the total insurance money in the name of the agreed amount KRW 7,66,320 from May 27, 2019.
