[Criminal Justice] On January 16, 2014, the Defendant was sentenced to imprisonment for one year and ten months for fraud at the Cheongju District Court, and completed the execution of the sentence at the Cheongju Prison on April 30, 2015.

피고인은 전국에 있는 점집을 돌며 그곳의 무속인에게 굿이나 조상 묘지 이장을 의뢰할 것처럼 행동하여 그의 환심을 산 후, 갑자기 전화를 받는 시늉을 하며 지인이 교통사고를 당해 당장 돈이 필요하다며 가짜 금팔찌를 맡기고 돈을 빌려달라고 하는 방법으로 돈을 편취하기로 마음먹고 전국을 돌며 범행대상을 물색하였다.

At around 10:00 on April 28, 2018, the Defendant made a false statement to the court of law operated by the victim C in Jinju-si, Jinju-si, by acting as if he would move the ancestor to the victim, and after birth of the victim’s recovery, “I would urgently require money to be paid to the victim during the traffic accident. It would be 18k gold scrap, which is the difference in the inside, will be entrusted to him as a security, and one million won will be lent.”

However, in fact, the gold bullion offered as security by the defendant was not valuable, and the Chok was not involved in a traffic accident, and even if the defendant borrowed money from the victim, the defendant did not have the intent and ability to repay it.

As above, the Defendant, by deceiving the victim as above, obtained 1 million won in cash from the victim on the same day, and acquired it by defrauding it, from January 2, 2019, and then acquired 6,170,000 won in total on nine occasions from January 2, 2019, as shown in the attached List of Crimes.
