A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of one year and four months.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant is a foreigner of the nationality of the so-called Bophishing organization that stealss money from victims by misrepresenting to a large number of unspecified persons the family by misrepresenting the lending company's staff, etc.

On August 2019, the Defendant: (a) conspiredd with the Malaysia’s name and in successive order with the Malaysia’s personnel to make a false call to an unspecified number of persons; and (b) the Defendant received the victim’s money from the Malaysia’s name in compliance with the instructions given by the said persons; and (c) delivered the money to another officer or deposited the money into the account.

In order to induce the victim to withdraw KRW 10,000,000,000 in cash by deceiving the victim as above, and to induce the victim in the future in the Jung-gu Seoul Special Metropolitan City around 14:18 on the same day, and the defendant was provided with KRW 10,000 in cash from the victim in front of the above building.

The Defendant conspiredd with the person who was named in the name of the victim, from that time until 17:31 of the same day, by deceiving the victims on a total of three occasions, such as the list of crimes in the attached Table, and by deceiving the victims on a total of KRW 30 million.
