Defendant

A as a person in charge of the F Research Project, which entered into a research station contract with D University Industry-Academic Cooperation Provided and E in the medical care hospital on November 21, 2012, around July 4, 2013, after receiving approximately KRW 20 million of the research development costs of the said research task from D University E in addition to receiving KRW 10 million of the research development costs of the said research task through the D University E-Academic Industry-Academic Cooperation Medical Care Center on July 4, 2013.

Defendant

A, despite the fact that there was an occupational duty to properly manage the research costs of the above research task in accordance with its use and purpose, A conspired with G to use the remaining balance for the personal purpose of G in collusion with G.

Defendant

On July 18, 2013, A paid the sum of KRW 982,840, and KRW 1,965,680, and KRW 982,840, to J personnel expenses, even though I and J did not have participated in the said research task, A received KRW 1,65,680, and delivered it to Defendant G, and arbitrarily used it for personal purposes unrelated to the said research task, such as living expenses.

As a result, the Defendants conspired and embezzled the property of the victim who was under custody in the course of business.
