Defendant shall be punished by a fine of 1.5 million won.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, KRW 100,000.

Punishment of the crime

Anyone who intends to divert farmland shall obtain permission from the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, as prescribed by Presidential Decree.

Nevertheless, the Defendant used part of the farmland B in Jeon-gun, Jeonbuk-gun, an agricultural promotion area, as a house (50 square meters) from July 201 without obtaining permission from the competent authorities to divert farmland.
