1. Defendant shall be punished by a fine of 2,000,000 won;

2. If the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

No person shall gambling which makes property or profits from sports promotion by taking advantage of the right to vote for sports promotion issued by a person who is not an entrusted business entity or a right to vote for sports promotion issued by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation in Seoul Olympic Games or a similar one.

Nevertheless, around June 02, 2015, the Defendant opened the Internet gambling site “C (site name D)” at the Defendant’s residence located in Suwon-gu, Busan, and deposited KRW 90,000 from the Defendant’s National Bank E account at the pertinent gambling site to 1611425204014 account, and thereafter deposited KRW 31,068,000 over 130 times from September 2, 2015, as indicated in the list of crimes in the attached Table, and deposited KRW 31,068,00 in the same amount into the cyber money point at home and abroad selected at the above site, and then arbitrarily selected one or more games during the sports games, such as livestock hosting, money-freeing, etc. of the relevant game, and lost the winning amount by paying the winning amount.
