Defendants shall be punished by imprisonment for one year and six months.

Punishment of the crime

No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation or an entrusted business entity, shall issue sports betting tickets or similar things (including the issuance thereof by means of information and communications networks) and provide property or financial benefits to persons who win at the betting.

Nevertheless, the Defendants and the persons in poor name conspired to operate an illegal sports soil site in which one person, which is similar to the sports promotion betting ticket that allows 1,000 won to hold at 1,00,000 won as a result of domestic and overseas sports games (Yak-gu, stable, farming district, port, and ice) and the result of the competition to operate an illegal sports soil site where the winning amount is to be paid according to the pre-determined rate.

The above person who was unaware of the name was in charge of the opening of the illegal sports Saturday site (D) in the Philippines and the management of funds, and the Defendants were in charge of the management of members, such as withdrawing and remitting gambling funds deposited in the Republic of Korea under the direction of the above person who was not entitled to receive the name cards, and transmitting promotion text messages to the members of the above gambling site.

From August 26, 2013 to February 18, 2014, the Defendants and the persons under whose name the Defendants received KRW 172,246,118 from the general bank account (number H) in the name of G in the name of Korea and abroad as a national bank account (number H) from many unspecified persons who opened the site at any time by changing the illegal sports Saturday site “E, F, etc. after opening D,” from the list of crimes, and received KRW 1,226,274,475 in total with five accounts listed in the attached Table No. 1,26,275, and had members predicted the result of the sports competition, and the members who used the results of the sports competition from a hostile point of view, based on the predetermined rate set in advance.
