Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 500,000.

Where the defendant fails to pay the above fine, one hundred thousand won shall be one day.

Punishment of the crime

A person who intends to divert farmland shall obtain permission from the Minister for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, as prescribed by Presidential Decree.

Nevertheless, on September 2018, the Defendant, without obtaining permission from the competent authorities, set up a mushroom shed with a size of approximately 165 square meters inside the area of 165 square meters, located outside the agriculture promotion area, and diverted farmland.
