Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 500,000.

If the defendant fails to pay the above fine, 50,000 won shall be one day.

Punishment of the crime

A person who intends to divert farmland shall obtain permission from the Minister for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

Nevertheless, on April 2012, the Defendant laid down concrete and opened a cemetery without obtaining permission from the Minister for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, with farmland of 545 square meters owned by the Defendant outside the agricultural promotion area, and diverted farmland to farmland without permission.
