A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than eight months.
except that the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.
Reasons
Punishment of the crime
Since the Defendant was appointed as B (Class 10) from the Jeju Market on November 13, 1996, the Defendant was transferred to Grade B as a public official in charge of construction and transportation station C and accounting in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province on December 1, 2009 and from January 8, 2013, the Defendant was dismissed from office on October 28, 2013 when he kept corporate deposit passbooks, seal imprints, corporate cards, etc. and was assigned to the public official in charge of accounting.
1. On July 8, 2013, the Defendant: (a) made out and exercised a customer transfer slip (e.g., a deposit passbook in the Jeju bank account under the name of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Jeju City (C) and its reported seal; and (b) withdrawn KRW 2,119,00 from the said account without any legitimate authority; (c) around that time, the Defendant used it for personal purposes, such as debt repayment and gambling funds, in the Jeju bank’s Jeju bank’s Jeju City (C) where it was kept in custody; and (d) using the deposit passbook under the name of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Special Self-Governing Province (C).
In addition, from July 8, 2013 to September 30, 2013, the Defendant embezzled the total amount of KRW 8,544,000 from the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province’s public funds to be distributed without permission and used for personal purposes, such as debt repayment and gambling funds (sports) through 12 times as indicated in the attached list of crimes (1).
2. Forgery of an official document, or uttering of forged or forged official document;
A.
