Defendants shall be punished by a fine of three million won.

In the event that the Defendants did not pay the above fines, only 100,000.

Punishment of the crime

1. Defendant D and E wished to arrange a disguised marriage between Vietnamese women and men of Korea’s nationality, and D, upon receiving part of a disguised marriage payment from Vietnamese women requesting a disguised marriage, to be given to men of the Republic of Korea who are a disguised marriage, E introduces Korean men who engage in disguised marriage to F, and the F proposes to engage in disguised marriage to G. The G accepted this.

On June 29, 2009, G submitted a marriage report stating false details as if the public official in charge of family register affairs was married with Defendant A, along with documents for reporting the marriage by Defendant A, at the Sung-dong civil service center of Seongdong-gu Seoul, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on June 29, 2009, to the public official in charge of family register affairs. The public official in charge of family register affairs, who entered the family register information system (family relation registration) that Defendant A had married with Defendant A, and around that time, had the public official in charge of family register information (family relation registration) computerized data containing such false facts furnished.

As a result, Defendant A conspired with D, E, F, and G by making a false report to the public official and made the public official enter false facts in the public electronic records, and exercised the public electronic records containing false facts.

2. Defendant B D and E mediated the disguised marriage between the Vietnamese women and the men of the Republic of Korea’s nationality, D received part of the disguised marriage payment from the Vietnamese women requesting a disguised marriage under the pretext of introduction, while some of them sent to the male who is a disguised marriage partner, and there was a public contest for the remainder of money other than the cost as a referral fee.

E introduced men of the Republic of Korea who are to engage in disguised marriage to F, and the F proposed to engage in disguised marriage to H, and H accepted it.
