A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for six months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for one year from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation or an entrusted business entity, shall provide property or property benefits to persons who have issued sports betting tickets or similar things and predicted them, and no person shall establish a place or space for gambling for profit.

B around January 2016, upon being entrusted with the operation of the > A. B as a general manager in charge of the operation of the said gambling site, he/she is in charge of raising and managing funds, operating the gambling site, distributing profits, etc., and the above C is to distribute profits to the above B. Defendant and E are in charge of the payment, charging, and exchanging of dividends according to the results of the games.

From October 27, 2016 to January 27, 2017, the Defendant: (a) deposited money in five gambling site operation accounts, such as the accounts of community credit cooperatives in the name of C (F) from the members affiliated with the said website in an unforeseeable apartment in the Philippines, from around October 27, 2016 to around January 27, 2017; (b) deposited money with each member; (c) deposited money in the way of various sports games, such as camping districts outside the Republic of Korea, axiss, and farming districts; and (d) deposited money in the amount of KRW 5,00 to KRW 1,60,000,000, and (e) deposited money in accordance with the distribution rate set in advance to the members who predicted, and (e) acquired money from the members who did not predicted, for the aggregate period, KRW 1,694,4324,266.

Accordingly, the Defendant, in collusion with B, C, and E, issued sports betting tickets or similar things and offered them to persons who win them, and opened a space for gambling for the purpose of profit-making at the same time.
