A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for six months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for one year from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

Any person who intends to convert a mountainous district shall obtain permission from the Minister of the Korea Forest Service.

Nevertheless, without obtaining permission from the Minister of the Korea Forest Service, the Defendant converted the use of mountainous districts by excavating 15 gran trees, which were buried in the land outside the boundary of the area subject to permission, on April 1, 2012 to April 10, 2012, and on the process of construction with permission for conversion of the use of sports facilities in Gangnam-si C and D, and by using heavy equipment, such as sckera, etc., which were buried in the relevant area, and cutting and banking work equivalent to 3,175 m2 of forest land.
