Defendant

A Imprisonment for one year, Defendant B shall be punished by imprisonment for eight months, Defendant C, D, and E by a fine of five million won.

Punishment of the crime

No person, other than an entrusted business entity, who is the Seoul Olympic Winter Games Foundation or the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation or a person who is not an entrusted business entity, shall provide property or property benefits to persons who win the result by issuing voting rights for sports promotion or others similar thereto, and no person shall open a space for gambling for profit.

1. Roles between the Defendants and accomplices

A. Defendant A’s role in the duties of the Defendants: (a) “G” (H, I, and J) and “K”, at the office managing sports gambling sites, began with the duties of a local employee in charge of filling, exchange, sports registration, customer counseling, and bulletin board management; (b) Defendant A, who was in charge of managing the said gambling sites, was promoted to a local employee in charge of managing and managing the said gambling sites; (c) later, Defendant A was in charge of daily settlement and contact with domestic employees.

Defendant

B, Defendant C, Defendant D, and Defendant E were foreign local employees in charge of management of the practical site, such as filling, exchange, game registration, customer counseling, and bulletin board management, in the above Philippines’s local office.

B. The role of other accomplices as the chairperson of the Philippines, who is the actual operating state, has opened “G” (H, I, and J) and “K”’s sports gambling site office and has overall control over the pertinent gambling site affairs.

M under the direction of the above L, was in charge of overall management affairs related to the site, such as purchase of passbooks, management of staff, interference of the refund machine operator, progs, etc. as the president.

N andO have been in charge of affairs such as domestic interview and employment of new employees in Korea, receipt of earnings from those who are in the refund machine business, receipt of passbooks, receipt of living expenses, employee benefits, etc., and remittance of money necessary in the Philippines.

P is a local employee of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Korea.
