Punishment of the crime

The defendant of "2016 Highest 591" is the representative director of the (ju) PP located in the Gyeongnam-si, Yangyang-si, who runs the automobile parts manufacturing business using 20 full-time workers.

When a worker dies or retires, an employer shall pay the wages, retirement allowances, compensation, and other money or valuables within 14 days after the cause for such payment occurred.

Nevertheless, from February 9, 2015 to October 31, 2015, the head of production division is working for the above workplace from February 9, 2015.

The amount of wages of Q Q's 6.8 million won was not paid within 14 days from the date of retirement without an agreement on the extension of the due date between the parties, and the total of 34,819,459 won, such as wages and retirement allowances, for five workers, was not paid within 14 days from the date of the occurrence of the cause of payment without an agreement on the extension of the due date.
