A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than ten months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for a period of two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

“On May 4, 2015, the Defendant transferred KRW 10 million to an account in the name of the Defendant’s wife M from May 4, 2015, and on May 5, 2015, the Defendant directly transferred KRW 20 million to the said account from E on May 7, 2015, the first police officer sent KRW 20 million to the said account at the trade in French-gu, Seoul.

As a result, the Defendant received a total of KRW 30 million under the pretext of solicitation or good offices with respect to cases or affairs handled by public officials.
