A The defendant shall be punished by imprisonment with prison labor for ten months.

Punishment of the crime

No person, other than an entrusted business entity, who is the Seoul Olympic Winter Games Foundation or the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation or a person who is not an entrusted business entity, shall provide property or property benefits to persons who win the result by issuing voting rights for sports promotion or others similar thereto, and no person shall open a space for gambling for profit.

The Defendants conspired with co-offenders, including I, J, and K, to conduct betting on the success or result of the sports competition, and conspired to operate the sports gambling site [L, M, Defendant A only through M,] to obtain or lose game money according to the results of the competition. According to the above public offering, I and J generally operate the above gambling site while investing initial funds, and K generally manages the above gambling site; K will take charge of the general management of the Chinese office in which the above site server is located; Defendant B withdraws the proceeds of transfer from the Chinese office; Defendant A will take charge of the role of "total sales", N,O, P, Q, R, and S, and the role of managing the posts, such as the games, at each Chinese office.

Defendant B continued to receive from March 23, 2016 to July 3, 2016 the L site; from November 18, 2016 to August 4, 2017, Defendant B’s operation of M site; from June 26, 2016 to July 3, 2016; from November 18, 2016 to July 4, 2017, Defendant B received total of KRW 14,709,876,242 from each other; Defendant A received from his accomplices to August 4, 2017 the total amount of money of KRW 14,709,876, and KRW 242 from each other; Defendant A received from November 18, 2016 to August 4, 2017; Defendant 2000-14 to each other’s operation of sports betting site; Defendant 1 and 40-140-day; and Defendant 20-day and 14-day.
