1. Basic facts

A. 나. 망인은 2014. 1. 23.경 M병원에서 요추 MRI를 촬영하였고, 다음날 흉부 X선 및 복부 CT를 촬영하였는데, 위 요추 MRI 등의 촬영 영상에 대하여 당시 M병원의 영상의학과 전문의인 피고 H는 ① 요추 MRI상으로는 요추부 만곡의 경미한 일직선화(mild straightening of lumbar curvature)가 발견되나 그 외에 별다른 이상은 없고, ② 흉부 X선상으로는 오른쪽 폐 부분에 석회 음영(mottled calcific densities)이 보이는 것을 제외하고는 별다른 이상이 없으며, ③ 복부 CT상으로는 우측 장요근(腸腰筋, iliopsoas muscle) 부분에 직경 42mm 정도의 분명하지 않은 저음영(ill defined inhomogenous low density) 및 그 주변에 경미한 지방침윤의 소견이 보이고, 내폐쇄근(內閉鎖筋, obturator internus muscle)이 약간 비후화(肥厚化)된 것으로 보이나, 그 외 별다른 이상이 없는 점 등의 소견을 종합하여, 망인의 경우 우측 장요근 부위에 농양 형성(abscess formation)이 된 것으로 추정되므로 향후 임상적 연관성에 의한 치료 및 CT 촬영을 통한 추적관찰이 필요하다는 의견을 밝혔다.
