Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 25,000,000.
When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.
Reasons
Punishment of the crime
1. Any person who violates the Customs Act shall, when he/she intends to import goods, report to the head of a customs office the name, standard, quantity and price of the relevant goods and other matters prescribed by Presidential Decree
Nevertheless, at around 12:07 May 10, 2016, the Defendant brought in from the customs prosecutor of the Incheon International Airport passenger terminal 1st floor in Jung-gu Incheon Airport, the Incheon International Airport passenger terminal 271, to the head of the customs office without reporting to the head of the customs office any of the following: (a) the five rollers 116613N handets 5, roll roll 116610N hand control 2, roll roll 1166666N hand hand control 1,50,70 won in total of the cost of the goods, such as one roll 116613LB hand control 1,6613 LB hand control 1,50 won (up to 128,188,942 won in total of the market price), and attempted to transport eight sights to the Defendant, DF 2, and EF 2, without reporting to the customs office.
Accordingly, the Defendant attempted to import the above eight rollers' sights without filing a report thereon with the customs collector, and attempted to detect the customs officers.
2. When any means of payment exceeding 10,000 U.S. dollars are carried and imported, it shall be reported to the head of the competent customs office.
Nevertheless, at around 12:07 May 10, 2016, the Defendant: (a) concealed USD 900,000 in the Defendant’s home page for the purpose of entering the Incheon International Airport passenger terminal 1 floor in Jung-gu Incheon Airport in Incheon, which was 271, for the purpose of purchasing high-quality visual and cosmetics in Korea while entering the red bean; and (b) attempted to carry USD 68,720 into the country without reporting to the customs collector by concealing USD 68,720 in the “F”’s home page; and (c) attempted to carry USD 68,720 in the country of entry.
Accordingly, the Defendant attempted to import USD 184,637 (the amount equivalent to USD 203,400,184) such as USD 900,000 and USD 68,720 ($ 203,40,184) from customs officers without reporting to the customs collector.
