A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

Punishment of the crime

1. [2015 Highest 965] No one shall provide a game product for the distribution or use, or display or keep it for such purposes, and shall exchange, arrange for exchange or repurchase the results of tangible or intangible obtained through the use of the game product, or engage in a business of repurchase, and shall not engage in a business of speculative acts using slot machines or speculative gaming machines, other than speculative business;

Nevertheless, around April 4, 2015, the Defendant operated 'D' with C3rd floor C(301) of the Cheongju-si, Cheongju-si, and provided a speculative game similar to the sea of the cryp current method that did not receive a rating from the Game Management Committee, and the Defendant offered 10% fee per point for customers to use the said game work, and paid 4,500 won in cash.

As a result, the defendant provided game products not classified for use, exchanged the results obtained through the use of game products, and operated a business using speculative gaming machines for business purposes.

2. [2015 Highest 1524] The Defendant is the actual business owner who operated the “F Game Establishment” on the fourth floor of the petition-gu, Cheongju-si, and G is the name of the above game establishment, and H and I are employees in charge of money exchange and settlement.

No person in violation of the Game Industry Promotion Act, and the Act on Special Cases concerning Regulation and Punishment of Speculative Acts, etc. shall provide game products for their distribution or use, or display or store them for such purposes, and shall exchange or arrange for exchange or repurchase the tangible or intangible results obtained through the use of the game products, and shall engage in speculative activities using slot machines or speculative instruments, other than speculative business.
