Punishment of the crime

Defendant

A was a candidate for the election of the president of the E Agricultural Cooperative Association, which came into force on March 11, 2015, and Defendant B was a four times after Defendant A’s movement.

A person who intends to become a candidate for an election of the head of a cooperative shall not provide money, goods, or other property benefits, express his/her intention to offer such benefits, or promise to offer such money, goods, or other property benefits to the institutions, organizations, or facilities established and operated by members, their family members, members, or their families, during the period subject to restriction on contribution acts, and no person shall make, or have another person make

Nevertheless, around September 2014, Defendant A found at the “G” restaurant operated by Defendant B, which is located in the F of Seosan City, and Defendant B asked Defendant B to the effect that “When I want to support the senior citizens’ meeting at the event of senior citizens’ day, I would like to support the senior citizens’ meeting instead of being in violation of the Election Act if I want to do so.” Defendant B conspired to make a contribution on behalf of Defendant A on behalf of Defendant B.
