The punishment of the accused shall be determined by a year of imprisonment.

70,000,000 won shall be additionally collected from the defendant.

Punishment of the crime

1. No person, other than the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation for the violation of the National Sports Promotion Act and the establishment of gambling spaces and the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation and entrusted business operators, shall issue sports promotion betting tickets or similar things and offer property or financial benefits to persons who win up sports betting tickets, and no person shall open a place or space for gambling for the purpose of making profits;

B and C opened an online private sports promotion betting site "D" on February 2014, and around March 2014, the Defendant was entrusted with the overall management of the site, such as withdrawal and distribution of earnings from B, and opened and operated the site. B was in charge of member recruitment, site publicity, and C was in charge of the establishment of a website and program operation.

The Defendant, together with B and C, remitted money to members by means of a nominal passbook to predict and purchase the results of the sports games, such as domestic and foreign axiss, camping districts, and farming districts, and paid dividends calculated by multiplying the betting amount by a certain percentage to the members who accurately predicted the result of the games, and operated a gambling site by collecting the betting amount to the members who were not correctly predicted.

The Defendant, in collusion with B and C, received KRW 1,39,980,00 from members of the gambling site from around March 2014 to May 2014, and exchanged KRW 1,166,650,00, and received KRW 233,330,000 from members of the gambling site to make profits, and opened a gambling space for profit-making purposes.

2. A personal information manager who violates the Personal Information Protection Act shall not use the personal information beyond the scope of the purpose of collection;
