Punishment of the crime

Defendant

A is the representative of the E restaurant chain headquarters in Daegu-gunD, and the defendant B is a person who engages in the business of buying sets in the United States.

No person shall evade customs duties by filing a declaration at a price lower than the actual price in the import of foreign goods.

The Defendants, in importing boats in the U.S., have taken the mind to evade customs duties by falsely preparing a false stamp, etc. and reporting the import price of goods low.

The Defendants, in collusion with the Daegu Customs Office on December 24, 2013, imported “F” from the U.S. from G to “F,” and filed a false declaration by submitting a seal 11,500 U.S. price of imported goods by submitting a false declaration, etc., despite the fact that the actual price of the goods is 23,698, the Defendants evaded KRW 1,037,972 equivalent to the difference of 12,198 U.S. customs duties (Korean 12,974,647 won).

In addition, Defendant A filed a false report as if the actual amount of income was US$ 176,222 on a total nine occasions from that time until November 25, 2014, and Defendant A evaded customs duties equivalent to KRW 7,466,350 equivalent to the sum of US dollars 87,02, which is the difference (Korean US$ 93,329,379 won) (Korean US$ 93,329,379 won).

In addition, Defendant B, from that time until May 7, 2014, filed a false report as if the actual amount of income was US$ 146,322 on a total of eight occasions, such as the sequence 1 to 8 in the list of crimes in the attached Table of crimes, and Defendant B evaded customs duties of KRW 6,762,802 equivalent to the total amount of US$ 79,122 (Korean Won KRW 84,535,020).
