A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation or an entrusted business entity, shall provide property or financial benefits to persons who issued sports betting tickets or similar things and predicted the result thereof.

The Defendant, along with B, C, and C, had the intent to operate an illegal sports soil site site D, and B had the overall control over the management of funds such as partial investment necessary for the site operation, the management of revenue in Korea, and the receipt of revenue from the exchanger business entity. The Defendant and C conspired in order to take charge of practical site management, including filling, exchange, sports registration, customer counseling, and bulletin board management, at the Chinese office.

The Defendant, in collusion with B, C, and the above D, prepared an office in an officetel located in China from December 2016 to September 2018, and opened a private sports venue in the name of “E”, “F”, “G, H, and I”, received money from the members affiliated with the above site in the K Bank account in the name of “J”, etc., and received money from the members affiliated with the above site in the name of “E”, “F”, “G, H, and I”, and given members with a reasonable amount of cyber money, and caused members to buy cyber money by predicting the winning of the sports games, such as domestic and foreign stables, camping, and the deaf, posted on the above site, and paid the dividend that applied the dividend rate to the betting amount, and received money from members who did not meet the result of the games by operating the sports site in the name of “E”, “G, H, and I,” and received money in the name of 381.385 won and 18.385 won from members, as shown in the attached list.

Accordingly, the Defendant, in collusion with B, C, and D, issued sports betting tickets or similar things and affixed them to those who were not the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation or entrusted business entity.
