The provisions pertaining to statutory interest rates under the main sentence of Article 3(1) of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Promotion, etc. of Legal Proceedings on Partial Dismissals (hereinafter “Promotion Act”) were amended and promulgated on May 21, 2019 and enforced from June 1, 2019, and 15% per annum, which is the statutory interest rate under the previous Promotion Act, was applied during the period from May 31, 2019, but the statutory interest rate under the Promotion Act was changed to 12% per annum from June 1, 2019.

Therefore, only damages for delay calculated at the rate of 12% per annum from July 19, 2019 to the date of full payment after the delivery of a copy of the complaint of this case shall be recognized, and the exceeding part shall be dismissed.
