A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than two years and six months.

16 million won shall be additionally collected from the defendant.

Punishment of the crime

On January 20, 2010, the Defendant was issued a summary order of KRW 1 million for a violation of the Game Industry Promotion Act at the Sungnam Branch of Suwon District Court on January 20, 2010.

【Criminal Facts】

1. No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation or an entrusted business entity, shall issue sports promotion betting tickets or similar things to provide property or property benefits to persons who win at the betting results;

Nevertheless, the Defendant, along with B, C, D, E, F, G, etc., had the mind to operate a sports earth site, and B, had the Cheongdo Cheongdo Cheongdo Ha established a call center, which is an illegal sports earth site, in Hado Hado Ha, and had the overall control over the operation of the illegal sports earth site, and the Defendant, upon B’s instructions, followed the operation of the call center and the management of funds of the above “J” center, and C, D, E, F, G, etc. followed by dividing the above call center into workers, as the week, night, and shared the role of management, gambling fund impulse and exchange.

Accordingly, in collusion with B, C, D, E, F, G, etc. from August 8, 2014 to November 2016, the Defendant opened the said call site under the name of “J” and received approximately KRW 11,383,335,06 from the members of the said site by deposit with L’s bank account, etc. and charged the points of an amount corresponding thereto. The Defendant operated the illegal call site by means of collecting the said gambling money from the members who did not pay a certain amount of points in accordance with the dividend rate set in advance to the members who correctly predicted the outcome of the domestic and overseas sports game or who correctly predicted the outcome of the “private bridge” game, etc.

Accordingly, the defendant is in collusion with B, C, D, E, F, G.
