Defendant shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five million won.

Where the defendant fails to pay the above fine, one hundred thousand won shall be paid.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant is a person who operated a general restaurant called “C” in the original city B.

If a foreigner intends to be employed in the Republic of Korea, he/she shall obtain the status of sojourn eligible for employment activities, as prescribed by Presidential Decree, and no person shall employ any foreigner who has failed to obtain the said status

Nevertheless, from June 1, 2016 to July 31, 2018, the Defendant employed D, as a restaurant store, a person who had no qualification to be employed by entering the above “C” as a license for visa exemption from the Republic of Korea.

In addition, from June 1, 2016 to July 31, 2018, the Defendant employed nine foreigners who do not have status of stay as a restaurant occupant, such as the sequence, employment period, nationality, name, date of birth, date of payment for the aged, and date of payment, in the following order: (a) from June 1, 2016 to July 31, 2018.
