【Defendant A was sentenced to one year of imprisonment for a violation of the Chemicals Control Act and a violation of the Toxic Chemicals Control Act at the Dong-gu Seoul District Court on July 14, 2017, and is currently pending in the appellate trial.
【Defendant A’s representative director of the FF corporation who is in charge of the business affairs of the F corporation, and Defendant F corporation is a corporation with the purpose of treating wastewater.
GS (former summary indictment on the same day) is the head of the F Company's factory, GT (former summary indictment on the same day) is the head of the F Company's water quality management team, and GU (former summary indictment on the same day) is the employee who manages and operates the water pollutants prevention facilities installed in F Company as the water quality management team of the F Company.
1. No business operator of a defendant A shall discharge water pollutants exceeding the permissible discharge standards by failing to normally operate prevention facilities without justifiable grounds;
Nevertheless, the Defendant and the above GS, GT, and GU, in collusion with each other according to the Defendant’s instructions on June 12, 2017, shall be treated “water” through the biological treatment of wastewater, such as a breadth, at the place of business of the above FF CV located in Ulsan-gun, Ulsan-gun, and the normal wastewater treatment process process shall be “water treatment” (Article 15(1) of the Chemical Treatment Article 10(2) [Article 10(2) [Article 10(3) of the former Food and Drug Treatment Act] in the order of “discharge”.
