Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 700,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant was registered as a preliminary candidate on March 25, 2014 at the sixth local election district of Dong-si Kimcheon-si, which was implemented on June 4, 2014, and thereafter elected.

No one shall distribute, post, distribute, play, or display advertisements, personnel management books, posters, photographs, documents, pictures, paintings, printed matters, recording, video tapes and other similar things, which contain the contents of supporting, recommending or opposing political parties or candidates (including persons intending to become a candidate), or which indicate the name of a political party or candidate's name, in order to influence the election from 180 days before the election day to the election day: Provided, That a preliminary candidate may directly appeal for the support of name cards on which his/her name, photograph, etc. have been printed, or appeal for support.

1. On April 8, 2014, at around 11:15, the Defendant distributed 18 copies of the name cards of preliminary candidates, on which the Defendant’s photograph, career, etc. are written, at the Han-Mam apartment-ro 8, Hancheon-si, Kimcheon-si, Kimcheon-ro, 101, Dong 102, by placing them on the above apartment 101, Dong 102, and by placing them on the urban gas inspection record

2. On April 10, 2014, the Defendant distributed approximately 100 name signs of a preliminary candidate, which are installed at the same place, and by sticking it in the mail of a house, at a preliminary candidate’s name, where the Defendant’s photograph, career, etc. are written at a residential house near Kimcheon-si, Kimcheon-si.

3. On April 15, 2014, the Defendant distributed approximately 200 copies of a preliminary candidate’s name sign installed at the road name signboard and a house mail in a house located in the care and custody market in Kimcheon-si and Kimcheon-si, Kimcheon-si, stating the Defendant’s photograph, career, etc. at around 15, 2014.
